Job Summary

The Hydro-X Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Remedial Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of ventilation systems to ensure compliance with BS9999 and TR19 standards.
  • Perform fire damper testing and issue reporting in accordance with BS9999.
  • Install and repair access doors in accordance with DW144.
  • Install, repair, and maintain passive fire stopping systems in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant as instructed.
  • Follow a preventative maintenance program as instructed.
  • Make recommendations for major repairs to the physical plant.
  • Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment.
  • Maintain personal equipment and materials stock inventories.
  • Provide written reports as required.
  • Ensure records are maintained.
Requirements
  • Proficient knowledge in ventilation systems management in accordance with TR19.
  • Knowledge of fire damper testing and issue reporting in accordance with BS9999.
  • Experience with access doors installation in accordance with DW144.
  • Knowledge of passive fire stopping in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
