About the Role:
As our Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge instrumentation. You will:
- Develop and implement innovative mechanical design solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical design with other disciplines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for advanced instrumentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses to optimize design solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure smooth production and quality control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the instrumentation or sensor industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
