Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team as an Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of essential maintenance and operational tasks related to our sewage pumping stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both planned and preventative maintenance on sewage pumping stations to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to emergency alarms and manage your daily workload effectively.
- Collaborate with team members while also being capable of working independently, adhering to our stringent health and safety protocols.
- Participate in an out-of-hours emergency standby rota, providing essential support and receiving additional compensation for your commitment.
Location: This position is based in Camberley.
Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:36 pm.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess an ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- A valid driving license is mandatory.
- Experience in an electrical apprenticeship is advantageous, with an 18th Edition qualification being a plus.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical systems, ideally in a multi-skilled capacity.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to fault resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service with a positive and accountable attitude.
- Ability to lead initiatives for site improvements and effectively communicate suggestions.
