Maintenance Assistant - Broadway, Worcestershire

Maintenance Assistant - The role:   The work offered is varied, interesting, dynamic and offers permanent employment. We are looking for team members who are proactive, helpful and who want to make a difference. Benefit from the flexibility of days off, flexible working 8 hours per day, between 8am & 6.00pm, 5 days out of 7.   

Maintenance Assistant - About You:   You should be a practical person who is confident with a range of maintenance and excellent repair, replacement tasks, as expected in a quality background. You may not have any related qualifications or prior hotel experience but willing to undertake training and mentoring in a small team. You will be a team player looking for a fresh challenge and keen to learn new skills is, sometimes a demanding role with job deadlines a necessity, working within an excellent hotel team.    Key attributes:

We look for people with experience helping others, with relevant transferable skills, possibly from the following proffesional backgrounds: Emergency Services, Military, Public Sector, Education, Health & Safety, Maintenance, Building & Trades.   

Maintenance Assistant - Key duties:   Varies with each assignment, typical tasks include: with security in mind, repairs in plumbing, light electrical, testing and checking fire alarms and life safety sysems. Perhaps boilers, plant & water pump systems,, knowledge of swimming pool, carpentry, light building work, air handling units and much more. You'll be required to learn regulatory checks (training provided), liaising with contractors, minor repairs and maintenance. Training provided to the successful applicant.
