About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor to join our team at Andrew Brownsword Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our hotels and surrounding grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the upkeep of the hotel and surrounding grounds, including planned maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure the smooth operation and serviceability of all services, including heating, lighting, and plumbing.
- Maintain the hotel exterior, including pathways, driveways, and landscaping.
- Ensure external lighting and signs are clear, visible, and in good order.
- Identify and report maintenance defects and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure all allocated tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Undertake decorating, minor refurbishment, and maintenance within the hotel.
- Provide out-of-hours emergency service and temporary cover as required.
- Induct new staff and assist with fire and water risk assessments.
- Carry out plumbing, joinery, and general building repairs to a good standard.
- Maintain the company vehicle and perform basic safety checks.
