Please Note: There will be a two stage interview process. This will include a one hour Excel based data task to assess your data skill level, including the use of AVERAGEIF, CONCATENATE, COUNTIFS, IF, SUM, VLOOKUP and Conditional Formatting, Chart and Pivot Table creation. Followed by a  one hour, face-to-face interview consistenting of competency based questions

This role requires an analytical mind and an eye for detail, to enable you to produce reports and manipulate data from a variety of sources. The postholder will provide regular updates to local management and will get involved with a variety of projects across the service.

As well as this, you will support the administration of the Data Management system and will ensure good working relationships are established and maintained both internally and externally with service providers, commissioners and other interested parties.

This is a varied and interesting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the importance of maintaining accurate data and being part of a collaborative team. It’s a great time to join us and be part of something truly life changing for our clients and communities.

Within the role of Data Officer, you will be responsible for gathering and reporting on activity data and information from relevant services. You will develop and maintain the Data Management system for your area and will skilfully devise and develop a training programme for other staff around compliance with internal data collection systems. This is your opportunity to ensure that appropriate data information systems are in place and ensure timely responses to data information requests.

You will be data driven with an eye for detail. You will also have excellent communication skills, and will be capable of building good working relationships with colleagues service providers, commissioners and other stakeholders.


Required Skills

Maths & English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent qualification A successful track record of delivering data-based training to groups & individuals Knowledge/understanding of collating data and managing database packages Demonstrable experience of working in an office environment High degree of analytical and problem solving skills Ability to build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders Organised; excellent planning and time management skills Good communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent IT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and digital media Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
