About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Care Plus Group. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a professional and quality administrative support and reception service to patients, doctors, and other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the medical team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Manage patient records, including updating and maintaining accurate and confidential information.
  • Coordinate appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments as needed.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including electronic correspondence.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, doctors, and other health professionals, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Recent experience of working in an office/reception environment, preferably in a GP/medical practice.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a non-judgmental approach and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
