Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler and Administrator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day scheduling of appointments with our busy Endoscopy Unit. The post holder will be working closely with the Endoscopy Team Leader and Service Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of the service.

The post holder will be supported by the Endoscopy Team Leader to work on projects to improve access to endoscopy services. Our endoscopy service operates Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00. The post holder must be able to work flexibly within their contracted hours.

Main duties of the job

To schedule patients who are referred to the endoscopy service within national access diagnostic waiting times. To ensure that endoscopy appointments are effectively utilised. To provide an efficient administrative service to the endoscopy clinical team and provide an excellent patient experience.
