Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the Research and Innovation Directorate at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an administrator to further develop skills within research to support a wide range of clinical studies. The key roles require the individual to have excellent communication skills at all levels; are confident working in partnerships and on their own, developing relationships and working together as part of a team within the research environment. You need to have a positive attitude and to help develop an effective research culture within UHNM

This role is within a busy research department, subject to frequent deadlines for a large portfolio of clinical trials as such, the post holder will need to possess excellent time management and planning skills. The post holder will work closely with the Principal Investigators and Consultants, the Research Nurses and Trial Coordinators, medical staff, and clinical trials sponsors and representatives.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will ensure consistent and professional administrative and data support to the R&I department and support the teams agreed portfolio of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials. This will require flexibility, the use of initiative and a very high degree of organisational skills.
