Description:

Seeking a Business Analyst who will work closely withmultiple stakeholders Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and developmentteams to document business requirements & business flowdiagrams.

  • This position isresponsible for enterprisewide business analysis of webapplications for the Office of Information Management (OIM) and itscustomers.
  • This position will work closelywith multiple stakeholders Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) anddevelopment teams to document business requirements.
  • The Business Analyst will report to the Project Managerto ensure business requirements enhancements modifications andnewly identified business initiatives are thoroughly documented forsuccessful implementation of Information Technologysolutions.


Specific Tasks such as:

  • Working with customers and project management team todevelop business requirements in response to requests for systemsenhancements modifications and newly identified businessinitiatives
  • Working with technical team andvendor to ensure requirements are incorporated into systems designand testing
  • Evaluating alternative strategiesand making recommendations for viable solutions that are compatiblewith current technologies and systems
  • Developing requirements documentation and business flowdiagrams
  • Actively participating in functionaland systems integration unit testing; creating test plans scenariosand testing results
  • Assisting customers withtesting
  • Developing and presenting training tocustomers
  • Providing implementation andmaintenance support
  • Meeting regularly withcustomers
  • Proactively making suggestions forsystems and process improvement and performing competitive problemand opportunity analysis emphasizing integration experimentationcreative brainstorming early complexity assessment and capturingresults in the form of a business case to propose a new changeinitiative
  • Keep Project Manager informed ofkey issues that may impact project implementation
  • Facilitate project conference calls status meetingsplanning sessions and provide for meeting notes
  • Utilizing systembased project management applicationscollaboration applications and MS Office applications; VisioSharePoint Google Meets Teams etc.
  • Please notewe are looking for a selfmotivated and proactive Business Analystwho is detail oriented and not necessarily a blended PM.
