Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced registered nurse to join our client’s team in the dual role of Charge Nurse and Clinical Instructor. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical leadership with educational responsibilities, contributing to both patient care excellence and the development of future nursing professionals.

As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee patient care delivery during your shifts, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety. You will lead and mentor nursing staff, assign duties, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Simultaneously, as a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nurses. You will develop and implement educational plans, mentor nursing students in clinical settings, and evaluate their progress and performance. Your guidance will help students develop essential clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Leadership:

  • Manage and oversee patient care delivery during assigned shifts.

  • Direct nursing staff, assign duties and monitor performance.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Maintain nursing operational standards and implement quality improvement initiatives.

  1. Educational Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement teaching plans and clinical experiences for nursing students.

  • Mentor and guide students in clinical settings, fostering critical thinking and clinical skills development.

  • Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to student assessments.

  1. Administrative Duties:

  • Organize training sessions for new staff and ongoing educational seminars.

  • Create and manage nursing staff schedules.

  • Monitor and adhere to budgetary guidelines related to nursing resources.

  1. Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate effectively with management regarding nursing staff performance and operational issues.

  • Collaborate with program directors and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and educational experiences.

  • Maintain open communication channels with nursing staff, students, and other stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.

  • Teaching experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in clinical nursing practices and procedures.

  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.

Salary:

  • Salary range: GBP 3,000 to GBP 3,500 per month (Tax-free).

  • The final salary offer will be defined based on the length and type of experience, and the assigned department.

Working Conditions:
