**Charge Nurse - ICU**

TFS Healthcare are proud to be partnered with one of London's leading Private Hospitals in their search to find a Charge Nurse for their cutting-edge ICU. Our clients expert Critical Care nursing team is a dynamic group of decision-makers who work collaboratively to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of their patients. Safe patient care is always their goal, and they leverage innovation and technology in order to achieve world class outcomes in their state of the art 29 bed ICU department.

**What will your duties be?**
- Suitable experience as an ICU Charge Nurse
- Provides direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2&3 care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of CCL.
- Prioritises nursing care, recognizes deterioration in patient's condition and escalates to the senior nursing team /clinicians immediately.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

**What we need from you?**
- Current NMC registration
- Must be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses
- Demonstrable clinical experience in the field of high acuity critically-ill adults with invasive lines, mechanical ventilation, continuous and intermittent haemodialysis, and vasoactive intravenous medications in a hospital setting.
- Wide range of experience working in critical care specialties including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery.
- Completed 60 credits Adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Course or equivalent & completed Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course
