Site Agent - Up to £65.5K

Location: Dartford / Kent

What You'll Do:

Specialise in the management and execution of key highway maintenance and renewal projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee expansion joint renewals, bearing enhanced maintenance, bearing replacement, waterproofing to bridge decks, resurfacing, and parapet renewals
  • Conduct testing and investigations to ensure project integrity
  • Operate from our Dartford office during the day while coordinating night-time work across the network
  • Make ad hoc site visits at night to ensure smooth project execution
  • Lead site teams, ensuring that all operations are performed safely and efficiently
  • Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and budgets

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in highway projects, particularly in maintenance and renewal
  • Proven ability to manage site staff, operatives, and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a highways context
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating between office and site teams
  • Flexibility to manage day-to-day office work with night-time site operations
  • Relevant industry qualifications and certifications are highly desirable
  • A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
