Job Type: Full-time - Permanent

Location: National Coverage

Salary: Up to £65,000 p/a (dependent on experience)

Additional: Company vehicle or car allowance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to join our client's highways division, working on a range of schemes including bearing replacements, drainage channel refurbs, expansion joint renewals, and arched beam repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Agent/PM in their duties and oversight and management of smaller construction contracts.
  • Site staff and sub-contractor management.
  • Production of RAMS and project management plans.
  • Monitoring of contract costs against agreed budgets.
  • Preparing programme of works.
  • Manage design co-ordination and the timely completion of contracts.
  • Building good relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the civils sector working for a main contractor and working within NEC contracts.
  • SMSTS or equivalent.
  • You will have significant main contractor civils experience including earthworks, structures, and highways as well as experience in programme management and Temporary Works coordination.
  • UK driving licence is essential.
