We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team at Jackson Civil Engineering. As a Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.
Main Responsibilities- Manage site staff operatives and sub-contractors to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
- Develop and implement method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor contract costs against agreed budgets and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Prepare and monitor programmes of work to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Assess and engage sub-contractors to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
- Manage design co-ordination to ensure seamless integration of project components.
- Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of projects.
- Communicate with local groups and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Foster good relations and reputation with clients through excellent customer service.
- Understand and administer contract change to minimize disruptions to projects.
- Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent.
- Up-to-date SMSTS qualification and appropriate CSCS card.
- First Aid at work qualification desirable.
- Experience of managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor.
- Previous experience on Highways, Earthworks, and Structures projects.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
