An exciting opportunity has arisen with a hospitality & retail business that is about to do great things The People Director will support the leadership team in the creation and manifestation of a culture where people feel genuinely invested in, personally and professionally, and are aligned and accountable for the delivery of business success.

The role:
• Setting and driving a people strategy
• Drive a culture of performance management with a clear career route
• Creating a reward structure
• Challenging and supporting the Operations team to deliver a great customer experience in the right way, improving consistency of performance across the estate
• Implement a training structure to ensure initiatives really embed in the business
• To assist with the management of all budgets in line with financial procedures and manage the HR budget economically
• Managing a head office team– working alongside the Operational team
• Review, adjust, implement and manage all aspects of remuneration, bonuses and benefits
• Develop, implement and communicate effective systems of performance management so that the company's


Experience:
• In depth understanding of HR policies and processes
• Experience of managing a team, influencing at all levels and presenting at board-level
• In depth knowledge of Employment Law
• Experience of project and change management – company acquisition experience would be an advantage
• Driving continuous service improvement
• Developing employee engagement – all levels
• Oversee the development and implementation of management talent planning
• Experience of using metrics for driving performance
• CIPD as a must
