Job Summary:

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Director of People and Culture. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing the NHS People Promise across our Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and embed all elements of the NHS People Promise within our organization.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization and Integrated Care Systems (ICS) to maximize opportunities to retain staff across the NHS and Social Care.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues in other organizations regionally and nationally to offer and receive support.
  • Operate on a matrix basis, managed by the ICS Retention SRO, and contribute to the development of retention policy and practice.
  • Pass vital information from our organization to inform retention policy and changes in practice, as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the NHS People Promise and its implementation.
  • Ability to analyze data and inform retention policy and practice.
