THE TEAM:
The current leadership of 73 Strings has extensive professional expertise in the valuation of private assets and understand the importance of informed decision-making when it comes to managing capital:
- Yann Magnan, Co-Founder and CEO: Previous experience at E&Y (Valuation Advisory) and Duff & Phelps, most recently as head of EMEA and member of the Global Operating Committee.
- Abhishek Pandey, Co-Founder and Deputy CEO: Previous experience at Corporate Finance (Deloitte, Grant Thornton) and Duff & Phelps most recently as Managing Director in India.
- Vinod Vijapur, Co-Founder and CTO: Previous experience in banking at HDFC Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and at BoAML, most recently as Head of APAC Regional Applications – Program Management
- Sambeet Parija, Co-Founder and CPO: Previous experience at Duff & Phelps as part of the valuation team in India having led several strategic projects across different sectors
- Jazmin Hogan, North America Lead: Previous experience at the Blackstone, Apollo and Kohlberg & Co, most recently as Director of Valuations and Analytics
- Celine Bes, EMEA Lead, Previous experience in Investment Banking and Valuation at Goldman Sachs and Private Equity and Transaction Advisory at E&Y.

ROLE AND BACKGROUND:
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer who has operated in complex SaaS environments.
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be a technical expert and trusted advisor to our prospects and customers, partnering with the sales team to support the entire sales process. Your role will involve understanding the prospect’s technical requirements, demonstrating how our SaaS platform solves their challenges, and guiding them through the solution's technical aspects, as well as develop demo environments and train junior colleagues.
This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales teams to understand prospect’s business needs and technical requirements.
Deliver tailored product demos that highlight the technical features and capabilities of our SaaS platform and create compelling use cases that address the prospect's unique needs.
Design and maintain demo environments showcasing 73 Strings’ features and functionalities.
Serve as a technical advisor during sales calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
Lead POC engagements by setting up environments, configuring solutions to align with customer use cases, and ensuring a successful experience.
Assist the sales team in crafting responses to technical inquiries in RFPs and RFIs.
Work closely with the post-sales/customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers, providing all relevant technical information and context.
Train and mentor colleagues
Qualifications:
Graduate or post-graduate qualification
5+ years of customer facing experience in a Pre-sales role within an enterprise SaaS environment
Experience in delivering engaging and technical sales demos
Good understanding of Private Markets’ ecosystem (Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital) and workflow (portfolio monitoring, valuations)
Coaching and training capabilities
Exceptional presentation, communication and client skills
Technology/platform ultra - savvy
Outstanding project management skills and methodology
Critical thinking and time management skills required.
Passion for technology and a love for working in a fast-paced high growth environment
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
