About the job
As the business is entering into an exciting phase of growth, the Technology Solution Group (TSG) are looking to add a Technical Delivery Lead (TDL) to the team, who will own all technical delivery aspects for identified offerings within our Data Governance as a Service (DGaaS) Managed Service framework aligned to our Data Management offerings. This will be for specific customer(s) and report to the TDL Team Lead for our Data Driven solutions.
This role would suit someone passionate about becoming a subject matter expert for software solution(s) that support delivering data-focused outcomes for customer(s) data management initiatives, in the areas of data catalogue & glossary, data quality, and data lineage use cases.
The individual should have a proven ability of designing, planning, configuring, and driving value-based outcomes from enterprise software-based solutions for the above-mentioned use cases.
Role responsibilities
Role responsibilities cover a wide range of activities related to customer service rollout, platform design, implementation and configuration, support, and ongoing management.
- Take the Customer on a journey to build their own Business Glossary(s), Business Data Models, Data Catalogues, Data Quality (Business Rules) and Data Lineage capabilities.
- Run Workshops, Meetings, Interviews, etc. with our customers to help them understand more about Data Management and how that will benefit their business.
- Serve as the main solution contact, and lead meetings for designated customers.
- Participate in software solution deployment ensuring it is built and tested to specification.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and the customer to ensure effective communication and relationship management.
- Own delivery of outcome after presales and customer sign-off and oversee implementation to ensure service meets specification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as pre-sales, engineering, project, and product management to ensure smooth running of the service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for improvement and enhanced service delivery.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting lessons learned and sharing insights.
- Create, own and maintain relevant documentation of the solution that comprises the service for new and existing customers.
Key Skills/Experience
- 3+ Years in an enterprise application deployment/ analyst role.
- Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and support of enterprise applications.
- Understands what a Business Glossary(s) is and how to help a business build one.
- Understands what a Business Data Model is and how to help a business build one.
- Understands what a Data Catalogue is and how to help a business build one.
- Understands Data Quality is and how to help build Business Rules to enforce it.
- Understands what Data Lineage is and how to help map it for a business
