We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to help us grow our client base and expand our business within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and target potential clients, including homeowners, property developers, real estate agents, and interior designers.
- Develop Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Generate Leads: Proactively generate and follow up on leads through various channels, including networking events, social media, referrals, and cold calling.
- Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies, identifying new market trends and opportunities.
- Meet Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
- Prepare and Present Proposals: Create detailed and compelling proposals tailored to the specific needs of potential clients, showcasing MAF’s product range and design expertise.
- Collaborate with Design Team: Work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the bedroom and kitchen design sector.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales preferably within the home improvement, interiors, or design industry.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels.
- Sales-Oriented: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and proactively seek out new business opportunities.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of Milton Keynes Market: Familiarity with the local market and key business opportunities within the Milton Keynes area.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of bedroom and kitchen design, installation processes, and associated products is a plus.
