What we do
Zoho produces cloud-based software solutions for businesses of all sizes. Over the past 26 years, our portfolio has grown from a single online word-processing tool to a comprehensive suite of apps that covers an industry-leading range of use cases. With 55+ products on offer—and even more in the pipeline—Zoho is a powerful, integrated business management system serving over 80 million users around the world.
Zoho is excited to be driving innovation in every aspect of business software. Zoho offers its employees lots of opportunities for growth in a dynamic job environment. With our new offices across the UK & Europe, Zoho is looking to build further awareness in the market. We're seeking an engaging, creative, and self-driven professional to help us drive PR activities. It is an exciting time to join the European team as several countries are beginning to build out teams in order to accelerate growth.
Who we are
Zoho is not your average tech company. Privately held, we've been bootstrapped and profitable from day 1, and have never taken any outside funding. Deeply committed to solving problems through global collaboration, our organisation believes in experimentation, iteration, and following your instincts. With European headquarters in The Netherlands and global headquarters in Chennai, India (as well as offices in over 20 countries) our teams work across time zones, continents, and cultures to promulgate and support our unique company culture.
The impact you will be making
We are looking for a PR Executive to support our growing awareness in the UK and Europe. You will work closely with the Head of UK & European PR to support on campaigns that help attract media attention and drive media coverage. There is never a shortage of messages to focus on, or inspiration to take from Zoho PR teams all around the world, which makes this a fast-paced and exciting role and one which offers opportunity to grow and learn on a daily basis.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the European PR lead in driving a strategic PR and communications programme which supports Zoho's business goals in the region
- Working in alignment with marketing and social media team members to ensure programmes support each other's activities in reaching the right audiences with the right messages at the right time
- Working with PR agencies to ensure they are equipped with the right information to help them drive success, reviewing their content, monitoring their progress against goals
- Writing media content, whether it be blogs, comments, articles or press releases
- Researching new publications and channels to help drive wider media reach
- Assisting with the analysis and monitoring of campaigns in order to determine success
- Assisting with management of media interviews and attendance at Zoho or other industry events
- Assisting with the development of creative ideas to enhance PR campaigns
- Managing and organising projects effectively and in a timely manner
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of PR or related experience, preferably with a technology or software company, but others considered
- A keen interest in and passion for how technology and innovation can transform business
- Excellent communication skills and a resilient mindset to succeed with media engagement
- Excellent proven writing skills across a range of types of content
- A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions that are efficient and effective
- Able to build strong personal relationships and to engage meaningfully with colleagues, journalists and other stakeholders important to Zoho
- A self-motivated go-getter who is happy to be managed remotely in order to achieve goals
- Native fluency in English
- Willingness to learn from others and to self-improve
- This person can work remotely from anywhere in the UK, but the role at times will also involve travel, including to our UK office in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes, our international headquarters in Chennai, India or to the European offices, to learn more about Zoho and to engage with various teams. The role can also be hybrid, with time split between home and UK office work.
Benefits
- This is a full-time position with a 40h working week
- 25 vacation days
- Permanent employment role with initial probation period
- Attractive and competitive salary
- You will start with on-the-job training in a team with guidance and mentoring
- Option for hybrid working, with a mix of remote and office-based work
