Business Development Executive - National/International
The Role: This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious & driven individual with a growth mindset, who has either a proven track record selling a technical or industrial product & can demonstrate the ability to identify and maximise growth within an established account base; as well as seeking out and hunting down potential new business opportunities, OR, someone who has worked within a manufacturing environment and is eager to utilise their transferable knowledge and skillset in a desk-based sales & customer relationship manager role at their brand new offices in Bury.
Our client are the only UK manufacturer of a full range of heavy & light duty elasticated shock cords, rope & braids which meet the current British Standards, dating back to the mid 1800's, that can be used for many different applications and industry sectors including Defence, Aerospace, Military, Fire & Rescue, Sport & Leisure, Theatre & Entertainment, OEM & Industrial. They can offer customers both a wide range of 'off the shelf' items, as well as bespoke, tailored projects to meet niche and individual needs.
As well as keeping a keen eye on driving and developing growth in sales, you will be the first point of contact for any customer queries, so this role will offer a real blend of both sales and customer service, which will require you ultimately to be a fantastic relationship builder and demonstrate that you are willing to go above and beyond to meet the customer needs.
Initially this role will be based from the offices in Bury, with ad hoc requirements to travel to customer sites for meetings, but as the role develops and grows it may well take a steer to being more field based.
