A truly unique opportunity has arisen to join the RHS F&B team as F&B Operations Manager (Deputy) - supporting the operational delivery of both our World Famous shows, but also the F&B Operations across the five RHS Gardens:

RHS Wisley

RHS Rosemoor

RHS Hyde Hall

RHS Harlow Carr

RHS Bridgewater

This role will have a wide and varied remit, and therefore will require a great deal of flexibility and the ability to switch hats frequently from operational support to desk based project work. It will suit an experienced Operator looking to add a new and exciting dimension to their experience. A keen eye for detail and the ability to lead and manage teams at all levels is a key part of this role.

During the Spring/Summer season the majority of the time will be spent at the shows including The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and our new programme of touring and urban shows across the UK. The remainder of the year will predominantly be desk based, working with the Head of F&B and F&B Operations Managers to deliver a variety of projects to benefit the progression of the F&B function towards our KPIs. There will be some administrative responsibilities / data collection etc and the ability to collate this and present it in a clear and analytical way is critical.

Overview of the Role:

We are looking to recruit an Experienced Catering / F&B operator to support all elements of our Operations. This role will be an exciting new opportunity to make a real impact on this important income stream for the organisation.

In order to be effective in this role, the successful candidate will need to :

be self-motivating and demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

be personable and approachable yet possess the ability to be clear and direct with others to ensure excellence.

possess the ability to form effective and mutually respected relationships quickly.

be prepared to spend some time considerable time away from home (approximately 30 days per year depending on location)
