This market leader in intimates & licensed apparel is recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager. You will be a key member of the UK management team to lead and grow all commercial sales/commercial relationships with customers. Experience with high volume retailers would be advantageous.


Sales Manager – The Role

  • Lead and grow the sales of the Intimates business
  • Lead all commercial / sales relationships with customers
  • Liaise with distributors and other Delta entities who sell our licenses
  • Bring new customer, license, product growth ideas
  • Own Sales and Margin Budgeting and Reporting
  • Own sales and margin reporting tools
  • Set price targets for products ensuring margins are protected
  • Work in partnership with UK peers in Design, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Technical and Finance
  • Collaborate with the sister product team across licenses and customers where synergy is required
  • Liaising with licensors for reporting of royalties and marketing plans
  • Travel to customers whenever possible – UK / Europe


Sales Manager – Skills & Experience

  • Experience within a similar sales management role within fashion – UK and ideally Europe.
  • A knowledge of the intimates, nightwear, activewear, socks marketplace – advantageous.
  • Understanding of the private label and licensing sector
  • Experience of success with high volume, off-price, half price marketplace
  • Analytical and experienced in target price setting, margin budgeting and reporting
  • Proficient in MSOffice
  • Confident negotiation, persuasion and communication skills.
  • Team player with a good sense of humour
