We are on an exciting journey of transformation and are looking for a proactive, people-oriented Account Manager to take ownership of our servicing and retention efforts. If you have a passion for managing and growing client accounts while providing first-class service, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. Being within commutable distance to our Basildon office is essential.
As an experienced Account Manager, you will be able to demonstrate how you have developed and maintained relationships with customers, understanding their business requirements, and having a thirst for knowledge about technical or SaaS products. Your ability to understand our offerings and relate them to our clients' business challenges will significantly impact our clients and your uncapped commission structure.
What will your role look like?
• Schedule meetings and calls with existing accounts, showcasing organisation, proactivity, and accountability through strong relationships and internal collaboration.
• Demonstrate your understanding of our clients and their business challenges, providing knowledgeable advice and solutions.
• Manage changes to licence requirements and account information within the CRM. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.
• Maintain low churn rates by taking proactive steps to reduce churn and increase retention. Experience reporting on, tracking, and improving over time retention metrics and KPIs is essential as this role focuses on these aspects weekly.
• Present new features and functionality to key clients. Experience presenting to larger groups, such as in webinars or at events, is advantageous.

In this position, your ideal client profile (ICP) may include senior management and director-level decision-makers, allowing for impactful interactions at the highest organisational levels.
What are our key requirements?
• Previous account management or sales experience is essential
• B2B, technology, or SaaS experience is advantageous
• Experience with CRM systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamic 365 being particularly valuable
• Confident telephone and meeting manner with experience engaging with senior stakeholders
• Ability to listen, understand, and provide technical solutions as required, and willing to seek support from colleagues when needed
• Process-driven and logical approach to organising and managing a diverse range of clients across various sectors
• Skills in presenting, webinars, and events are desirable
