This role sits within our Health & Care division - catering for those in care homes, independent living villages and the NHS. Making a difference to local people across the UK, our Caterplus division prides itself on crafting superb environments for the over 55 community. By contributing to our customer's social life and fostering friendships, our quality and locally sourced food is matched only by the warmth of our customer service.

As a Sous Chef you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the food is to the highest standard
Ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect of COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported
Support the manager in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget
Maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge, and maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness of all areas in the kitchen and of equipment
