This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced chef to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our hotel's kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes to our guests

• Oversee the purchasing and control of food and non-food kitchen items

• Provide ongoing training and development to the kitchen team

• Delegate and supervise staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations

• Maintain high standards of health and safety, food hygiene, and HACCP procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen

• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the team

• Good temperament and ability to train junior members of the brigade

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

• Previous experience in a similar work environment is essential
