Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure satisfaction, and drive revenue growth. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, you will understand their needs and provide exceptional service. In this role, you will collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to develop and implement account strategies, meet sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and increase client retention.


Responsibilities

  • Generate sales among customer accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers- this can include site visits to the customer
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
  • Makes sure customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Communicate customer needs and demands to internal departments
  • Forecast and track customer metrics and communications on HubSpot
  • Manage deployment projects
  • Coordinate with departments working on the same account to ensure consistent world-class service
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to reach prospective clients
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Facilitate invoicing and contracting renewals for assigned customers
  • Oversee support tickets for customers
  • Working with the product team to develop new solutions by sharing customer feedback and experience


Skills

  • 5 years in Account Management. Sales Account Manager or Customer Success role
  • Experience in the construction or mining industry (preferred)
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
