The TalentPool Company are delighted to work exclusively with a high growth SME personal care business who are disrupting the category with their innovative & exciting new products.


The team are looking to hire a Head of Retail to spearhead growth across all retail channels and they’re already experiencing phenomenal growth with Boots and Holland with & Barrett with many more retail conversations pending.


The business has grown to £15m in less than 3 years and the UK has achieved 7x growth in the past 12 months - the aim is to grow the business to £40m by 2026 by expanding distribution in the UK and Internationally. The business has the backing of prominent consumer-focused venture funds and recently raised a further £5.3m to fuel growth.


Reporting directly into the founder but also working alongside the Director of Growth, the role will be fully responsible for the following:


  • Through great story telling and sales acumen the role will develop revenue potential with new and existing retail partners
  • Build out sales forecasts, analyse sales & inventory and track retailers performance whilst managing the P&L
  • Develop & execute short & long term execution plans to drive geographical expansion, NPD launches and growth initiatives
  • Develop & execute brand marketing campaigns to build the category
  • Lead the changes needed in the category and have a deep knowledge of disruptors in the market.
  • Grow and develop a team of account managers as the business expands.


This could suit a passionate Sales Leader or someone stepping up into this role but the fundamental requirement is proven ability for scaling a disruptive SME brand Experience with Top 4 Grocery and / or high street retail is essential. This could be from food, drink, personal care or beauty categories.
