Duration: 4-month initial booking


Aquent is working with our entertainment client to find a talented and experienced Senior Account Director to join their talent pool and work on some of their most exciting campaigns. In this role, you will have oversight of day-to-day operational issues and the campaign AD team.


There is a 4-month initial booking scheduled to start ASAP. You will also be onboarded onto our client’s talent pool for 12 months. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you will be required to work from their West London campus 3 days a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays can be worked remotely from home. The role offers a rate of up to £400 per day which will have to be through an FSCA Umbrella company from our PSL.


Day-to-day responsibilities :

  • Deputise for the Head of Business, assisting with the running of the team and retained scope of work
  • Improving and implementing processes
  • Support the Account Directors in their day-to-day roles as an escalation point as well as a sounding board on the project
  • Run a vertical, leading team meetings, both internal and external & managing up to the Head of Business on priorities & updates
  • End-to-end leadership on the most high-profile and business-critical Tier 1 briefs and oversight of the status of projects the Account Directors are running
  • Partner with the ECDs/Creative Director to lead a project team including creative, production and strategy to deliver advertising campaigns across the brand's content, channels, platforms, products and services
  • Ensure clear client briefs are received on time and crafted for the creative and production teams to work from
  • Accountable for contact reports and project updates, to be cascaded to both internal and external teams as part of owning and driving the plan forward
  • Ownership of annual plans and laydowns and working with the Resource Management Team and Production teams to forward-plan activity and ensure shifting plans for work are managed, recognised and escalated as necessary
  • Accountable for the overall fiscal control and rigour of projects. Collaborate with production to ensure budgeting, tracking and reporting are efficient and accurate
  • Support the Head of Business in preparing for monthly finance reports to the business
  • Anticipate risks and issues, proactively recommend solutions at all stages of the strategic/creative/production development process
  • Manage the relationship with Marketing, media agency and other hub partners to enable the best, joined-up creative output across all briefs within the parameters we set


Minimum requirements:

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Branding and Advertising Integrated creative and the process of planning through to delivery
  • Balance the demands of operational detail with simplicity of communication
  • Able to present to and influence senior leaders across the organisation
  • Ability to lead large scale multi-million £ campaigns, through the line
  • Substantial Account Management experience in leading large, complex fully integrated campaigns – in fast-paced busy environments
  • Experience leading teams within agency environments – both direct and indirect
  • Financial accountability - running projects and accounts to budget and time
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at a very senior level
  • Distil complex creative and business ideas into simple narratives and sell them in at HoD level and above that help achieve business goals
  • Ability to input strategically on briefs and add value during the creative development process
  • Experience working across a breadth of creative disciplines and an understanding of how to get different creative functions to collaborate for a better output
