Sales Manager – Smart City Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to build and develop sales and profit growth within the Smart City (MUSH) vertical market across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and representing Client at key commercial and networking events.
Major Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development: Build and manage the sales pipeline from start to end, including tracking opportunities, validating leads, and closing deals.
Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain constructive relationships with new and existing customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Event Representation: Represent Client at commercial and networking events to enhance brand presence and drive business opportunities.
CRM Management: Ensure effective utilization and regular maintenance of the CRM database, ensuring data and forecast accuracy.
Product Value: Articulate how Client’s products and services meet customer needs and add value in various business verticals.
Proposal Management: Create formal business proposals and presentations, present to all organizational levels including executives, and lead negotiations to successful closure.
Market Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends, technical developments, and regulations affecting target markets.
Qualifications and Education:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Telco System Integrator role within the Smart City (MUSH) is required.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Italian, Spanish, French, or German is a plus.
Sales Experience: Proven track record of expanding sales growth in greenfield/brownfield sales territories, with experience in E2E projects.
Sector Understanding: In-depth understanding of the Smart City sector and ability to establish relationships within it.
Skills: Strong hunting mindset, exceptional negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel.
