Key Responsibilities;

• Service and further develop existing UK accounts through upselling, cross-selling, etc

• Use appropriate routes-to-market and market research to identify and develop new accounts and business opportunities

• Identify the UK’s emerging markets and market shifts while maintaining awareness of new products and competition status.

• Achieve company and personal objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, and researching industry trends/needs

• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and the company’s reach within the UK

• Maintain a strong awareness of competitor status, products, activity, pricing, market trends, marketing techniques/activities

• Actively Represent the company at industry events, increasing brand visibility and opening new business avenues.

• Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities and meet agreed objectives

• Build Client Relationships, cultivate lasting relationships ensuing high levels of customer interaction, satisfaction and loyalty.

• Be A Team Player working closely with our Sales Team consisting of dedicated Sales and Customer Service professionals.


Experience/Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years’ B2B sales experience in the chemical industry with a manufacturer or Distributor

• Degree qualification in chemistry/chemical engineering or related technical subject OR QBE

• Experience / knowledge of the full sales process an advantage

• Knowledge/experience in the field of surfactants is highly desirable

• Successful track record in B2B sales or account management and business development activities, upselling, cross-selling etc

• Credible customer facing skills, highly organised with strong time management skills, commercial acumen and the ability to build trusted business relationships

• A tenacious and proactive self-starter, who is results driven with a genuine passion for sales and excellent communication skills

• Interests in the global chemical market a plus

• Valid UK Driver’s License essential and willingness to travel to meet customers
