Account Executive / A&R - Music Financing Platform

Location: London, UK (hybrid working, 3 days in office)

Salary - £dependent on experience plus commission & equity


This incredibly fast-paced start-up is transforming the way independent artists monetise their music. With offices already in New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami, they are now expanding into London. This will be one of their first 2 key hires in the UK Offering a competitive benefits package, including healthcare coverage and equity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify, build and nurture strong relationships with artists and industry players
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deal execution
  • Oversee all points of the sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiating, onboarding, and close
  • Create and execute strategic plans on how to generate new leads and penetrate the UK market
  • Attend industry events, showcases, and conferences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and integration of deals
  • Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities and drive efficiency across the sales cycle
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in the music fintech space


Required Experience:

  • 5+ years in a music industry, artist-facing role
  • Passion for music and a knack for closing creative deals
  • Self-starter with exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in music, media or related field
