Our practice area of Intelligence Fusion (IF) is seeking a Business Development Representative to support the business development team in identifying business opportunities and managing customer accounts by delivering exceptional levels of services. Our Intelligence Fusion platform gathers huge amounts of data through various channels to populate our platform and make sure our customers receive accurate, timely intelligence, round-the-clock, and is used by some of the largest companies in the world.

Job Summary:


The Business Development Representative acts as the key team member for new and existing customer accounts and works with the sales and marketing team to identify, follow up and close new business opportunities.


Location: Intelligence Fusion office in Durham


Responsibilities:


Business development


  • Contribute to the wider sales strategy to drive new business and generate sales
  • Identify, contact and qualify potential customer leads
  • Meet and potentially exceed targets based on recurring business and account growth
  • Support customers with the onboarding and training to maximise the value of the company’s solutions


Customer and Account Management


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers as a facilitator of solutions
  • Learn and communicate technical and licencing solutions to all stakeholders
  • Sell SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
  • Assess and understand customer requirements
  • Data analysis to support the management of customer accounts and satisfaction
  • Identify and resolve customer issues in a collaboration with colleagues and internal departments
  • Assist and support the management with administration including contracts, client coordination, and ad-hoc tasks


Skills/Abilities:


  • Previous experience in business development or account management
  • Commercial and product knowledge
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Experience in maintaining data using a CRM system such as Hubspot
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
  • Client-focused attitude and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent relationship management with all levels of stakeholders
