Job Description

  • We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in developing new relationships and opportunities and supporting the growth of C the Signs in the NHS.
  • The business development representative works with new customers to identify sales opportunities to accelerate commercial growth and allocate those opportunities to the appropriate sales channel.


Responsibilities:

  • Sales/New Business Generation:
  • Conduct outbound engagements via phone and email, develop leads/prospects and book demo calls.
  • Be creative and implement activities to contact new prospects and generate new business.
  • Represent C the Signs products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of our products, leading to client research to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our target customers
  • Generate leads and build relationships through initial cold outreach, nurturing these into warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
  • Create and execute long-term multi-channel prospecting sequences to engage contacts, utilising CRM systems such as Hubspot, cold calling, and email campaigns and outreach in order to generate new sales opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales team for next steps (setting up calls, co-ordinating contact)
  • Identify best practices to refine C the Signs’ lead generation approaches – proactively generating ideas
  • Keep up to date with market trends and identify opportunities as they arise to ensure we engage at the earliest point in a client’s decision-making process
  • Monitor and report on weekly, monthly and quarterly results
  • Contribute proactively to C the Signs’ marketing and branding efforts where appropriate


Required Experience/Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in a relevant sales/SDR/BDR role, with a history of consistently exceeding targets and top performance
  • Proven track record of developing new prospects and relationships
  • Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience managing contacts and opportunities in a CRM (preferably HubSpot)
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Experience of selling technology solutions B2B, preferably health technology solutions within the NHS.


Education:

  • Preferably bachelor-level, but candidates with relevant experience also considered
