Position Overview:

As an Web Operations Associate at Saint and Sofia, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our online stores. You will be responsible for monitoring the functionality, performance, and efficiency of our website, as well as managing content on site contributing to the overall success of our online sales and customer experience. You will work alongside the Senior Trading Manager to seamlessly execute our trading plan. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be working with merchandising, web development, marketing and design teams to bring our products and services to our customers digitally.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Maintenance and Optimization:

- Monitor website performance, identify areas for improvement, and work with the web development to implement solutions to enhance user experience and drive conversions.

- Conduct regular audits of the website to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and marketers to implement website updates, enhancements, and new features.

3. Content Management:

- Assist in the management and publishing of website content, including product listings, images, and promotional materials.

- Ensure content is accurately formatted, optimised for search engines, and aligned with brand guidelines and marketing initiatives.

- Collaborate with creative and merchandising teams to maintain a consistent and compelling online presence.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Utilise web analytics tools to track and analyse website traffic, user behaviour, and performance metrics.

- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, bounce rates, and page load times, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Provide insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and optimise website performance.

5. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough testing of website features, functionalities, and updates across various devices and browsers to ensure compatibility and usability.

- Document and communicate test results, identifying any bugs or discrepancies and working with development teams to address and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)or Product Management (PIM systems) and ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
