Fresh with Series A backing, they're seeking a talented, experienced Head of Pre Sales to spearhead their pre-sales efforts and contribute to their ambitious growth plans


This exciting start-up empowers users to optimise their utilisation of renewable power, and have has created an advanced, comprehensive platform for low carbon energy grids in multiple timezones and locations.


Role Overview - Solutions Engineer (Presales Consultant)


As the Presales/Solutions Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of their solutions into European markets. Your primary responsibility will be to lay the foundations for scaling sales and revenue, leveraging your expertise in pre-sales strategies and your background in the energy space, (ideally within grid-side, energy providers, or transmission distribution). This role would be ideal for a Pre Sales Lead to step up, or an established Pre Sales Manager/Head of who has industry experience and contacts in this space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Chief Commercial Officer to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive pre-sales activities and achieve revenue targets in UK and European markets.
  • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process – creating sales collateral, proposals.
  • Utilise your expertise to identify opportunities for growth and expansion, tailoring strategies to capture market share.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of their products by making technical contributions and by providing feedback to Product Marketing and Engineering teams.
  • Leverage your background in the energy industry to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement in pre-sales processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Bring maturity to go-to-market efforts, working closely with bid team and lay foundations for scale.


Requirements:

  • Experience in start-up and SaaS environments is crucial, with a deep understanding of scaling sales and revenue.
  • MUST HAVE experience in the Energy, Renewables space
  • Proven track record in pre-sales leadership, ideally with experience driving expansion into European markets.
  • Strong background in the energy industry is a huge plus, particularly grid-side, with energy providers, or energy transmission distribution.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
