The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing our Sales strategy and workflows, build and manage a team of Account Executives (Sales), and drive revenue by building new brand partnerships for TheSoul Publishing.


The ideal candidate has an extensive network with brand-direct marketing teams and agency executives and a proven track of success in the US market, able to deliver results from the start. An ability to hire, train and manage experienced sales managers and build high-performing teams.


The right candidate is a motivated self-starter, strategist, and hands-on leader, with excellent communication skills and comfortable working remote and extensive use of project management software.



Responsibilities:

  • Oversee profit and loss responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Focus on driving revenue via brand sales and partnerships;
  • Contribute to our sales strategy in the United States;
  • Drive increase in RFPs, decrease sales cycle, improve returning business, push revenue per deal and open new product verticals via rigorous performance management and goal setting;
  • Overseeing onboarding, training, and coaching of new team members;
  • Collaborate with support teams like internal studios and account management team to shape and manage the production of branded content;
  • Establish and build relationships across major media, FMCG, and financial service companies as well as creative advertising agencies;


Demanded skills and experience:

  • Proven track record driving revenue via brand direct and agency sales for a top 10 social media publisher or agency, personally delivering $10M revenue annually.
  • Strong experience in discovering, prospecting, creating new business, and growing and retaining existing business.
  • Over 4 years leading highly effective sales organizations.
  • 6+ years as an account executive, account manager, digital buyer, planner, or strategist.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media, formats, platform distribution, and the competitive landscape.
  • Proven ability to source, evaluate, negotiate, and close new business opportunities from start to finish.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Outstanding networking and strong negotiation skills, able to persuade at all levels of an agency or client.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a remote team.
  • Strong virtual and in-person presentation skills.
  • Near native English proficiency.



We offer:

  • Employment contract with the TSP LAB LTD;
  • Full-time work, remote;
  • 6 months probationary period;
  • 10 working days per year of paid sick leave;
  • 21 days' paid holiday in each holiday year, plus the usual bank holidays in England and Wales;

  • 5% contribution for the retirement plan from the company side;
