My client, a market leader within the mobility sector, is looking to recruit a Sales Director to lead their sales function.


My client, a B2C business, operates a direct-sales model, selling via 70+ self-employed sales agents.


Leading a successful team, the Sales Director will motivate, develop, and manage in pursuit of its goals, ensuring the right people are in place and that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the market, and that all training is provided in an acceptable time frame.


Role and Responsibilities are detailed below:


•Leading a “World-Class” Direct Sales operation.

•Oversee the marketing functions, with direct responsibilities for the Head of Marketing.

•Contributing to company strategy towards maintaining profitable trading, whilst planning and executing effective changes which improve sales efficiency and unit profitability.

•Developing strategic sales plans which reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities agreed with the Managing Director.

Overseeing the Direct Sales Team recruitment to ensure planned growth targets are met or exceeded.


Qualifications


  • Must have extensive Direct Sales leadership experience - ideally leading a team of self-employed agents
  • Extensive hands-on sales leadership experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
