Main purpose of the job:

To provide a high level of customer service to our clients as part of the Customer service team and assist in managing our customer accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To input telephone sales orders and orders received from the Area Sales Managers for relevant territories.
  • Liaise with the customer, production, and warehouse/technical departments where relevant to confirm/query order details.
  • Provide basic technical support for customer’s enquiries.
  • Promptly resolve customer delivery enquiries, including liaising with couriers and warehouse where necessary.
  • Coordinate customer quote requests.
  • Deal with customer orders and end-user enquiries promptly and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • To promote a team ethos and support Customer Service colleagues & Customer Care Manager as/when required.
  • This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change at any time.


Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations and remain calm under pressure
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Strong communication skills, with a genuine passion for providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Inquisitive and confident to challenge and ask questions
  • Proficient with SAP
  • Able to use multiple systems and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player – open, honest and personable with a can-do attitude
  • High organisational skills – the ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Excellent IT skills –proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good motivator, driven and targets focused

Salary:

  • £19,235.25 (pro-rata)
