National Account Director- HoReCa

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Route to Market (RTM) Specialist to lead the development and execution of market-entry strategies for consumer brands targeting the HoReCa sector. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution to build and enhance the distribution network, foster partnerships, and deliver measurable results for our clients. You will be designated National Account Director - HoReCa reporting to our Global COO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-to-market Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement RTM strategies tailored to the HoReCa sector, ensuring optimal penetration and brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the HoReCa landscape.
- Distribution Network Development:
- Identify and establish partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, and direct sales channels.
- Optimize supply chain and logistics processes to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the HoReCa sector.
- Collaborate with clients to design Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and align on sales targets.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Analyze sales data and market performance to assess the success of RTM strategies.
- Provide actionable insights to enhance market penetration and profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align RTM initiatives with brand objectives.
- Coordinate with global and regional teams to implement best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in RTM strategy development and execution, preferably within the large multi-national consumer goods company managing HoReCa channels & customers
- Strong understanding of the HoReCa market dynamics, distribution channels, and key stakeholders.
- Skills:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Familiarity with market entry strategies and distribution models.
What We Offer:
- OTE is £82,000. The base salary will be reviewed once the probation scheme ends (6 months).
