National Account Manager – Retail, OOH Sector | Drive Growth & Innovation in UK Retail


Ready to take your career to the next level in the UK Grocery sector? My client are a leading British sports nutrition company they are a looking for a driven, strategic National Account Manager to join a fast-paced team focused on accelerating growth in the grocery channel. This role offers the opportunity to build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, develop tailored sales strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring powerful, data-driven insights to the UK Retail space.



What You’ll Do:


Account Management – Own and strengthen relationships with top accounts, maximising visibility and performance with regular account reviews and actionable insights.


Sales Strategy & Execution – Partner with internal teams to co-create and execute a sales plan, making sure it aligns with our growth targets and brand objectives.


Cross-functional Collaboration – Work hand-in-hand with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and order fulfilment.


Data & Analytics – Use forecasting, reporting, and data analysis to pinpoint opportunities, drive efficiencies, and report on your account’s performance.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experienced Account Manager – You bring proven success managing accounts in the FMCG space, ideally with exposure to major UK grocery chains.
  • Strategic & Analytical – You know how to leverage data, spot trends, and drive revenue by making data-backed decisions.
  • Natural Relationship Builder – Your interpersonal skills and negotiation prowess help you build rapport with key stakeholders, from decision-makers to influencers.
  • Problem Solver & Innovator – You’re adaptable, proactive, and ready to bring fresh ideas to solve challenges and uncover growth.


Success in this Role Looks Like:


  • Meeting or exceeding growth targets and KPIs
  • Successfully launching new products and promotions within accounts
  • Consistently accurate forecasting and data insights that inform strategy
  • Achieving favourable terms and strong performance metrics across accounts
