Why You:


You have significant experience in building and leading a talent acquisition function within the video games or entertainment industry and have expert knowledge of the landscape of the video games industry and its niche talent requirements. You have acted as a strategic talent acquisition business partner, and excel in influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering talent acquisition and optimisation strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Works closely with the VP of HR to define, plan, and execute our group-level talent acquisition strategy across our European Studios and Publishing business.
  • Partners with HR Leadership and Studio heads across our European Studios and Publishing business to understand hiring requirements, support with talent mapping and educate them on market trends and talent strategies to proactively address talent requirements.
  • Advocates talent acquisition best practices and makes recommendations to HR leadership and senior management for investment in headcount, systems/tools, and other process improvements to develop the group function.
  • Works closely with the HR leadership team to develop a change transformation strategy for group-level talent acquisition systems/tools, sourcing and talent attraction strategies, employer branding, recruitment processes and early talent programmes, ensuring continuous improvements and sustainability.
  • Leads on internal and external communications for our Talent Acquisition function, including presenting and speaking at internal shout-outs, external events, and other engagement activities.
  • Management and day-to-day mentoring of the talent acquisition team to foster their professional development, ensuring that our European talent acquisition strategy is clearly communicated and that they are provided with support with senior stakeholders and any required resources.
  • Provides regular reporting and insights to HR Leadership and our Senior Management Team to demonstrate the impact of talent acquisition activities in supporting our business goals.
  • Defines and plans our group-level outreach and engagement strategy with talent acquisition events and partnerships.
  • Develops and maintains a preferred supplier list of recruitment agencies.
  • Manages all executive recruitment activity, processes and relationships with external executive recruitment agencies.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


  • Significant experience in talent acquisition and business partnering with senior stakeholders, having led an internal talent acquisition function.
  • Direct experience within the video games or entertainment industries.
  • Possesses expert knowledge of the video games industry, its trends and its unique talent requirements.
  • Excels at building effective working relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at a group level.
  • Proven track record of building, executing and leading talent acquisition strategy at a group level, including demonstrable improvements in systems/tools, sourcing and talent attraction strategies, employer branding and recruitment processes.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other relevant recruitment tools with the ability to make recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Excellent presentation skills, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders and clearly communicating talent acquisition strategy and company EVP internally and externally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive strategic recruitment decisions and measure success.
