Purpose of the Role:


As Aveni enters its high-growth phase, we're seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in helping our clients tackle complex challenges. Joining us at this exciting time, you'll drive revenue through end-to-end sales, offering prospective clients our Aveni Detect platform.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Closing new business opportunities in line with monthly revenue targets.
  • Discovering new enterprise opportunities from targeted leads and proactive prospecting efforts.
  • Swiftly responding to marketing leads, arranging timely introductory meetings, and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Articulating the company's service, benefits, and processes to potential clients through various channels.
  • Nurturing clients through the sales process, producing tailored proposals and contracts to meet client needs.
  • Updating all activities on HubSpot and communicating accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other departments to drive product design, customer onboarding, and improvements based on market feedback.


Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

We're seeking candidates with:

  • Extensive experience in the Financial Services sector, with a broad network of contacts.
  • Experience managing RFP/RFI processes within enterprise sales deals.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and proactively prospecting new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey the value proposition of a complex software platform.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and work ethic.
  • Motivation to grow and win, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Energetic team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
