Senior Key Account Manager – Utilities Sector
Are you an experienced Account Manager with a proven track record in the Utilities sector? Do you have the leadership skills to manage key accounts and guide a talented team to success? If so, we want to hear from you
About the Role:
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional service across multiple accounts. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of 4 Account Managers, ensuring they meet and exceed their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with several high-value key accounts in the Utilities sector.
- Develop tailored strategies to meet client needs and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Lead, inspire, and support a team of 4 Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee account performance, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform account strategies.
- Report on account performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive retention across all key accounts
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role within the Utilities sector.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
- A strategic thinker who can contribute to both short-term and long-term account plans
