Senior Key Account Manager – Utilities Sector

About the Role:

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional service across multiple accounts. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of 4 Account Managers, ensuring they meet and exceed their goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with several high-value key accounts in the Utilities sector.
  • Develop tailored strategies to meet client needs and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Lead, inspire, and support a team of 4 Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee account performance, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform account strategies.
  • Report on account performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive retention across all key accounts


Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role within the Utilities sector.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
  • A strategic thinker who can contribute to both short-term and long-term account plans
