Experienced Sponsorship Sales Lead : Social Causes / Charity / Arts

(Freelance Contract - competitive monthly fee plus commission for every project)


MATH Arts & Brands is a leading independent sponsorship brokerage agency based in London and Berlin. We serve the Arts, Charity and Entertainment sectors by sourcing and negotiating sponsorship deals and partnerships with the world’s leading brands. Our clients have ranged from Somerset House through to Kite Festival, from London Warehouse Events to Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art. We pride ourselves on our creativity, expert and professional approach and the positive results we bring to helping our clients fund their creative and charitable work.


Essential Experience

This position is for a highly capable, and experienced sponsorship sales lead that has proven experience of personally closing large cash sponsorships in the charities and arts sector. This role will especially suit somebody that is passionate and interested in working across a portfolio of leading UK charity and arts organisations.


This is a flexible contract role of up to 4 days per week, for someone who has several years of experience in successfully developing commercial brand partnerships and fundraising, to achieve great results for our clients by closing cash deals with the leading brands involved in sponsoring and supporting charities.


You will need to show recent proven experience of sourcing, negotiating and closing significant cash deals for properties from scratch, and display great UK brand contacts, as well as being able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the sector, and in supporting organisations of this kind to achieve their financial aspirations through sponsorship.


Please do not apply for this role unless you are an experienced Sponsorship SALES and New Business professional that has worked extensively with UK brands and closed large cash sponsorship deals personally.


In addition to superb sales acumen and proven ability to close cash sponsorship deals with brands, the candidate will be expected to be skilled at client management, ensuring that our client is kept updated with regular, clear reporting on the progress of the work and dealt with sensitively and professionally at all times to ensure a smooth client relationship on behalf of MATH.
