Your Opportunity

Our BD team is growing We are looking for a dedicated Business Development Executive to join our team. This is a proactive outbound sales role, combined with some marketing responsibilities, based in Edinburgh.


We are at an early stage in our development but have grown rapidly to date. If you perform well, there is an uncapped opportunity for career progression within our sales organisation.


Start date is immediately, or as soon as possible.


Responsible for:


  • Creating and nurturing relationships with key suppliers across the UK
  • Identifying well priced machines through data analysis
  • Creating targeted marketing techniques through data analysis
  • Testing messaging & analysing data to improve our outreach processes
  • Developing expertise in the agricultural & construction equipment industries
  • Hitting outbound messaging targets
  • Building trust with our customers through rapid response times, customer references & acting with integrity at all times


You and your experience:


  • Recent university graduate or 2 years experience in an agricultural sales role
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to use data
  • Fast learner with a self-starting attitude and bias to action
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Comfortable with speaking on the phone to customers
  • A tenacious and highly competitive spirit balanced with empathy
  • A team player attitude
  • Knowledge of agricultural industry or heavy machinery is a bonus
  • Previous experience
  • Bilingual is a bonus
