Marketing Communications Manager Responsibilities:

Core Responsibility: Drive awareness, engagement, and preference for The Prince Akatoki London through strategic marketing and communication initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Marketing

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns: Plan and implement multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, PR, email, etc.) to reach and engage target audiences.

Manage brand's online presence: Oversee the hotel's website, social media channels.

Content creation and storytelling: Develop compelling content (blog posts, videos, social media posts) that showcases the hotel's unique experiences and brand values.

Partnerships and collaborations: Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand brand reach and create mutually beneficial opportunities.

Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets to secure positive coverage and brand exposure

Communication

Public relations: Develop and distribute press releases, manage media inquiries, and organise press events.

Internal communications: Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure consistent internal communication and brand alignment.

Crisis communications: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the brand's reputation in challenging situations.


Performance & Analytics

Track and measure marketing performance: Utilise analytics tools to monitor campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Conduct market research: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

Analyse guest feedback: Monitor online reviews and guest surveys to identify areas for improvement in marketing and communication efforts.

The selected candidate will have knowledge/skills/abilities in the following areas:

Five years of relevant marketing experience

Strong proficiency in understanding traditional and emerging communication channels

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies

Solid understanding and passion of marketing, positioning, branding, communication, and PR context and activities

Creativity - were looking for someone who can originate smart, impactful story ideas

Innovative - to love finding new, unexpected ways to tell the story of the brands/products organically

Strong budgeting and project management skills

Teamwork - be open to working with people from different countries and cultures, share knowledge and foster open communication

Analytical - using various analytics platforms to measure effectiveness and plan new strategies

Result-driven - be comfortable working on analytical tasks and trend forecasting.
