Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry services
  • Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and amenities
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and proactive manner
  • Assist in scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations of housekeeping staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
