About the Role
Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality cleaning and food services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of housekeeping staff to provide a quality service.
- Inspect, record, and monitor cleaning standards to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Handling and Hygiene Regulations.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors to ensure a positive and respectful experience.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in supervising a cleaning/domestic staff in a hospital environment.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and develop staff to meet the needs of the team.
